I think it was very brave of WWC to ask me to talk about myself – does WWC have enough bandwidth?! The people who can make a long story short… yeah, I'm not one of them. But I will try. I will try really hard.
My blog Happy Zombie evolved from my Cheese Zombie blog – where I was journaling my thoughts and ideas, my rants and my loves… not knowing people were actually reading it. And they not just read it… but left me comments. Comments I did not like, comments that were not very happy. It was time to pull the plug on Cheeze Zombie – even though I loved to yimmer yammer.
And then it was like little Heinzelm

The women in my family have been quilters, and I got into it myself because my grandmother had passed on and I was the only one she taught how to quilt. The happy Zombie Blog was the first quilting blog I started to follow. I love how she takes a unique spin on things. Keep quilting and bringing the happy, quirky side in every quilter out!

Hi Monica. I found your blog via a “Christmas in July” club run by Quilt Fabric Delights of Australia. Following a link by another member I instantly fell in love with the Happy Glow pattern as it was just what I had been looking for. I have been living in China for a few weeks and was thinking of making a quilt using Chinese lanterns and there it was. And in wonderful Christmas prints as well which I would love to have. I just find such amazing stuff on all the other blogs, like the link to this blog, that I put so much time into reading a sewing. I don’t have a much time on my hands as I would like. I am a self taught sewer and quilter. I am sure my experiences would be interesting to someone. Um…… maybe.
