    I to love the beauty of rocks. I pick up heart shaped ones or ones that are flat and unusual.
    My souvenirs from trips that go into my garden or just memento to lovely day.

    A treasure from a friend who goes to Ireland brings me ones with a stripe.

    I had one made into a huge ring …MY ROCK. The quote ,”My life is littered with many stones that make one pretty good road”. Beatrice Wood. ( The quote may be wee bit off but basically that thought. IT is how remember it.)

    This article has re-inspired me to tackle the fireplace and bring this to my home. Thank you.

    Also at the school where I teach they just completed our stone kiln house. I learned volumes
    from watching the masters at work.
