Many of us are in the grips of winter. All the beautiful colors of spring, summer, and fall are starting to disappear and our landscapes are very bare. That is one of the reasons this week’s fabulous feature makes me smile. The items that Christine chose, like her turquoise water bowl, are so bright and cheery. It was just the splash of color I needed this week.

“I have two items in my studio that are my favorite. It’s hard for me to choose between my turquoise water bowl that I bought at a thrift store for 25 cents. Its holds my brushes in the folds while I’m working.”
“I also love my heavy old flower frogs ( also found at thrift/antique shops ) that store my brushes and tools that are so nice to have nearby while painting. ”
