Jo has attended Alt Design Summit for the last 2 years. It is a wonderful conference full of creative, design, and business minded women. What’s not to love?

Did you know that Alt also has a blog? For blogging inspiration and business advice check out the new Alt blog. Recently I stumbled across an article on their blog about “12 Striking Tendencies of Creative People“. I think the one item that really spoke to me is #1… Are Easily Bored. I think most of you can relate to this. This is why are minds are constantly working overtime. Trying out new ideas. And maybe even driving the ones around us a little crazy.

Happy New Year

“I would like to end 2012 with a most sincere, from the bottom of my heart, “Thank You” to everyone who has supported the women featured on the pages of our publications … whether through working with or being part of all that we do, subscribing to or buying the magazines, following and/ or featuring us on social media, purchasing our hard-bound publications, or telling “your world” about who we are.

As I say over and over again, “Without all of you, there would be no us”. Which is why I am sincerely and eternally grateful for all of you and each of you. I consider you friends, I think of us as a family so large that we have created a community, and I am honored to be a very small part of all that YOU do.

May “our new year” be one of beauty, balance, accomplishments, laughter, happiness, triumph, dreams, good luck, far away places, self-expression, love, and one that we shall remember with a grateful heart all the days of our lives.
