“The superstar women artists featured on these pages are infinitely talented, not to mention resourceful.  They can and do create just about anywhere, like in a huge tour bus driving down the road or in a hotel room.  Cindy Cashdollar, is a five-time Grammy award winning steel guitarist who hails from the small but musically hip Catskills mountain town of Woodstock, New York.  An in-demand master of Bluegrass, Honky Tonk, swampy R&B, and Western Swing, Cindy now makes Austin, Texas, her home base.  She has played with a wide array of who’s who artists and musicians such as Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Hot Tuna, Asleep At The Wheel, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson, Levon Helm, and Dolly Parton.  Cindy also has the distinct honor of being the first woman inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 2011.  She was also inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame in 2012.” (Quoted from Cindy’s article in Where Women Create magazine.)
