From the Pages of GreenCraft Magazine: Coffee Filter Treat Bags
“When I try to create something, I try to follow my three “E” principles: easy, economical, and environmental.” ~ Mayumi Shuster
If you’re like me, and thrive on caffeine (and let’s be honest: wine), you might have a couple of spare coffee filters and wine corks lying around the house. Take a cue from Mayumi Shuster, and turn some of these often forgotten or discarded materials into attractive gift packaging for sweet treats. In her article, Shuster uses old torn newspaper, brown bags, twine, and stamps to embellish hers, but you could also jazz up your own version of these eco-chic gift bags with a charming die cut, strip of washi tape, or personalized message or quote.
