We see vacations, outdoor projects, and warm days on the horizon—which also means the Summer (May/June/July 2013) issue of Where Women Create Magazine is on newsstands. Inside the magazine you will find all the inspiring articles to spark the flame of your creative genius. As a full-time artist, a sense of isolation and the desire to make a difference led Flora Bowley to open her mind and heart to a new path. Now, in addition to painting in her home studio in Portland, Oregon, Flora teaches workshops all over the world, runs a five-week online course several times a year, licenses her work to various companies that make and sell products worldwide, and has written a book about her unique painting process. Through her artwork, courses, and workshops, Flora shows others that creating art can be a spiritual and transforming experience, one that is open to everyone—because we can all be artists, if we simply allow ourselves to be.
