“Located in New Hope, Pennsylvania, Liza Prior Lucy was destined to work with textiles. She considers herself to be a 21st-century rag peddler. Her mother and grandmother made socks for the soldiers during WWII, and her great-great-grandfather came to America as a rag peddler. Liza collaborates with friend and fellow quilt designer, celebrated London artist and author Kaffe Fassetf, who has published multiple works, designed for charity, and has been featured in museum exhibitions. Fate brought them together to create exquisite, captivating, and gloriously colorful patchwork masterpiece quilts.” (Quoted from Liza and Kaffe’s article in Where Women Create magazine.)
