For a long time, I defined myself as ANYTHING but creative. I am the most effective in my space, when things are simplified, organized and where I need them. And, while I have access to everything in my studio space, sometimes I like to “travel” to a more family friendly area in the house.
One of the projects I enjoy working on at the kitchen table with the boys is simplified memory keeping with Project Life, so I’ve developed a portable scrapbooking station.
My portable scrapbooking station includes everything I need to work on my memory keeping in two small wire baskets, except the album itself.
As you can see, in the vintage baskets there is space for my Project Life title and journaling cards, everyday pens (I like fine point Sharpies) and Slick Writers (for writing on photos and other slick surfaces), date stamps and washi tape. There’s even a little bit of room for small pieces of memorabilia I am planning to use in my scrapbook.
