I’ve found that, just like a resolution, it’s easy to lose sight of the things you set forward to embark on as regular life gets busy throughout the course of the year. To combat this I plan to bring my word into my life more consciously and concretely and make it more visible by creating an album to hold my thoughts, challenges and inspirations”.

Hi ! I’m Lindsey Cheney. Thanks so much for stopping by! I am married to an incredibly supportive husband and am mom to 3 littles, 8 and under. My days are full of sewing, trying to enjoy home schooling, crafting, snuggling, avoiding the laundry, sneaking bites of chocolate, and wondering “Will anyone notice if I just take a nap?”. I am also the fabric-hoarding, late-night working girl behind the pleated poppy, my little online shop where i get to create bits of goodness and send them out to customers far and wide. I’m a lover of quilts, fabric, stitchery and zombies. I keep busy as a fabric designer, quilt and home sewing pattern writer, graphic designer and a cooking recipe developer (ie., writing notes of what I want to order again on my take-out menu collection). My addictions and my fuel are my family and friends, sewing and crafting, Pinterest and Flickr, anything buttered, coffee and ice cold milk.
