Sewing:

A creative mess is better than tidy idleness.

I bet you can relate.

Whether it's sewing, painting, knitting or any creative endeavor, you're bound to get in the "zone". When I get there, the mess (and the creative juice) flows. You know how it is, you work on one thing, then start on another and pretty soon it's a disaster of epic proportions. Felt flowers, patterned paper, thread, fabric. What was I making again? It was that bad. In an effort finally curb the clutter, I decided to re-organize my office/creative space, including buying new shelves and containers. I was making pretty good progress (HUGE sized mess) when I started to feel sick. So sick in fact that my creative space/office has been sitting in this messy, disaster state for almost two weeks! And darn! Those magical, cleaning, organizing fairies didn't visit my space and tidy it up!

Where are they anyway?

But something equally wonderful did show up on my doorstep while I was sick…

This DARLING book was delivered and my day was instantly brightened.

Oh the Easter dress I could sew for my Emma …

There are 21 FABULOUS sewing projects to make for little girls and for those of us who are little girls at heart! I had a great time marking the things I want to sew for my girl, plus there's even a great idea for a desk cover that I may use for my new craft desk … If I can decide on one!

If only the magic fairies would PLEASE show up,

I could get right to it~
