This week we're doing something a little different. Since we are giving away a sewing related prize on Wednesday Wisdom, our friends at Making Memories were nice enough to give us a Fabrique to give away for Fabulous Friday! I personally have used this little machine and I love it! As a matter of fact, the quilt I made for them for Fall Quilt Market is sitting right under the mat in this picture :
I also created a few pillows, a fabric banner and some canvas wall hangings. I even added some Fabrique flowers when I made one of Anj's owls! If you sew or do any kind of decorating with fabric you MUST have this machine!

Wow! This is something I could really use! It would make it so easy to make the Sashes for the St Patrick’s day parade next year. When you have 20+ people in the family, this would make it look way more uniform.

Who ever invented this, did an awesome job. I’m on top of the world with the wide variety of projects I can make. It’s amazing how quickly it can cut out an applique design, and with such a “clean” cut too. The ease of operation is another reason this is at the top of “my favorite things list.” I sew clothes for my grand-babies, quilt and am also a card maker. That this tool is useful in all three areas is superb. To say I’m a fan of this instrument is an understatement.
I have been looking for a product to make cutting fabric easier than cutting by hand. I am so excited the Slice Fabrique is here!!!! So many projects…So little time!!!! :-)

I got my SLICE™ Fabrique the other day, but had to send it back because it would not turn on. I am so unhappy, wanted it so bad..To use in making quilts for a lot of little people.
