I have had a fascination with paper and scissors from an early age..use to cut out little paper villages and I adored paper dolls (still do)!
About three years ago I started scrapbooking to preserve memories of my son and our family. In the last year I have found I really enjoy making cards and love to alter found items and make them my own.
Paper is my passion and is theraputic to my soul. I enjoy the whole process of creating…from found items, finding that perfect paper, to the embellishments. It makes me happy!
I am on the GCD STUDIOS facebook design team as well as work for Kit creations. I have also been published in Artful blogger. I craft original creations for my Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/cherryjn) and I am excited to share them here with you!
I love to find that one of a kind little trinket that will make my pieces one of a kind. I lean towards a vintage look in style, often integrating old trims, paper, etc…so that each item is always unique. I use quality papers, trims, embellishments for my pieces.
Everything is handmade..and done with love and care.

A pink ribbon, an empty spool, a beautiful artificial pink rose, a square of paper with white polka dots on a pink background, and a stick pen with graduating white pearls…Only Cherry can assemble these five items on a scalloped piece of printed cardstock for a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece! I love the final product!!
This is beautiful. My niece and I would fight over it. We would end up giving it to our newest family edition. She is sure to be creative too.
Edition as in 9th generation…LOL I really intended to write addition. Too many i’s, e’s and tion’s. Glad it is friday.

I adore Cherry’s cards and purchased the “girl on a swing – happy” card featured in this post. Her creations are more than cards. I consider them little works of art. I have three of her cards now and to be honest Im not sure I can ever even part with any of them! Love her style.
