The mother-daughter design team of Debbie Murray and Shea Fragoso has been collaborating in creative ways for as long as both can remember. When Shea was growing up, Debbie taught stained glass classes in the community college system and owned a custom design business and fine art painting studio. When Shea finished school, they owned gift shops together in Southern California. Shea became a highly sought-after jewelry designer; her creations appeared in dozens of fashion magazines and graced the red carpet several times. Both women designed products for the gift industry and sold pieces to collectors around the world. In 2009, Debbie and Shea completed a major remodeling of a gothic church in Dallas, Texas. Here, they indulged in their love of crowns and European design and were constantly inspired by the architecture and the light.

Charlotte Lyons
Charlotte Lyons designs and makes things in a variety of styles and media. Still inspired by the humble simplicity of traditional art and craft and the inventive use of repurposed materials, Charlotte aims to mix an unfussy playfulness with the vintage charm of handmade keepsakes.
Over the years, her work has been featured in her books (Mothers and Daughters at Home, Between Friends), those with Mary Engelbreit and Barbara Martin and also in magazines such as Country Living, Victoria, Woman’s Day, Better Homes and Gardens, Mollie Makes and Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion. I am sad to see this end. I have really enjoyed revisiting some artists that I love and finding some new ones. Thank you so much!!! My wish for 2012 is to smile everyday. I think smiles are contagious and if I smile at someone, perhaps they will smile at another, and so on. I met an elderly man at the card shop one day. I smiled and he smiled. As I moved off to pay for my purchases I told him to have a nice day. Tears formed in his eyes and he asked if he could hug me. I said yes, and he explained that his wife had passed a few months earlier and she had always bought the cards for the family’s birthdays. So, he was buying birthday cards and missing her deeply. My smile was like his wife’s and he didn’t feel as lonely then. I drove home sobbing the whole way. One smile changed us both that day. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. (And don’t forget to smile!)

My wish for the new year is to concentrate on slowing down. Taking more time to focus on the truly important things (our small kids and family) and letting the superficial things play second fiddle as they should. We have had a difficult year with family members being sick, but it has helped us focus on the truly important moments. Also (this may be a stretch lol) I would like to plant a vegetable garden this year. Earlier last year we built a backyard chicken coop and have been enjoying every minute of entertainment from the chickens (not to mention the eggs) So I guess to sum up my new years wish would be ‘get back to the basics’ :-) and smile of course!

I would love to have a wedding do-over for our 10th anniversary. Justice of the peace and no family or reception or pictures, has left a big hole in my heart…
And to even have our children participate, and my dad walk me down the aisle…it would be unbelievably priceless.

I wish that my brother in law and sister in law find healing and happiness after recently experiencing the loss of their son through stillbirth.

I have a lot of wishes for my children and for my family, so this was a hard one. I think the one wish I have, is for my mother. My mother is the caretaker for my father with Alzheimers, so when she was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive cancer it was life altering. Mom made it through two surgeries, radiation and chemo and my biggest wish is for her to be well this year. My fathers ability to remember is slipping, but being with my mother, he can usually remember basic things. When she suffers, he doesn’t understand. So hoping for my mothers wellness, is like a hope for both of their well being. Its my greatest wish.

My wish for the upcoming year is to have my online business bloom with lots of energy, excitement and wealth. Or find a job, finally. Ive been unemployed for some time now and so times have been super rough for my family. I would love to be able to finally make ends meet and then some. I know it sound selfish, and some people may wish for love, health, world peace, but my peace and happiness comes from being able to provide for my family and not stress out about where the next dollar is gonna come from to keep the lights on or how to put gas in the car to get the kids to school, etc. And to be able to give the kids a descent Christmas.
My wish is that I’ll be able to move closer to my family.

My wish is the my husband gets a job after 3 years of unemployment.

My sincere wish for the coming year is that we bring all of our soldiers stateside. Of course, I also wish for our country to stabilize so people will have jobs and not be homeless or hungry.
My hopes for the coming year…..on a larger scale, I hope to see the economy renewed and stable so that hurting families across American can once again have hope in their children’s futures. I hope to not see so many hungry children’s faces. We (my company) participates in a local city program called 5 Loaves for Kids; we send 260 elementary and middle school children home each Friday with enough food to sustain them until Monday morning. I hope for more businesses to become involved in feeding hungry children in the city schools of Tullahoma, TN. If we can’t help in our local market, we aren’t going to make a dent on the national level. On a personal level, I hope for good health, safety, and peace for my families members…Happy, Healthy, & Safe. What more could you possibly want?

I had quite my job of ten years to go on my own. The owner was the most impossible person to work for. I could write a book! Anyhow five others also left to go on there own after me. Now they are being sued and i am being harassed. I hope for the new year that my former co-workers make it out on there own with minimal harm. Myself the nightmares and teeth grinding have slowed enough so that i can focus on my art that i have lost touch with. My hope for the New Year is for people to not loose touch. I’m an at-home mom with two toddlers and a husband who works a crazy schedule that seems to be constantly changing. Somehow, I need to figure out a schedule that allows me to clean the house, play with my kids, educate my preschooler, cook meals, and start my business. It seems daunting, but I think I’m making strides by cutting out a lot of unnecessary time wasters; still, I have a ways to go.

i don’t mean to be a Debbie Downer, BUT my wish is that all my friends and family who have have had MANY hard trials this year, with being a care giver, losses of loved ones, cancer, and one close friend who has been in a coma for 6 months due to tree limb hitting him in the head. Healing, Strength, Good Health and Peace to them All. And to you and me TOO!

Of course I wish for the usual of good health for family and friends. But besides that, i am hoping and praying 2012 will bring me a sense of figuring out who I am and what I am going to do next. I left my job at the end of October and am in no rush to replace the job until i find something I enjoy. Maybe go back to college? Who knows! I am just praying for 2012 to be the year I can move forward. I have been a stay at home mom for 11 years and then worked for 5, part time in a job I wasn’t too thrilled with. Now that I am a stay at home mom again, I want to use this time to enjoy the kids in the last few years before they head off to college but still make sure I am fulfilled.
I wish to write up my own book proposal and make the samples to send into the publisher. I want to be a writer and have ideas for many books. I would also like to teach. To share my love of creating and to open others to their creative natures is what I love to do!

Although finding a cure for GAN won”t reverse the damage that’s already done, it is hoped that the cure will stop the disease in its tracks. In turn, helping my niece, Sheyenne, and the other children affected by this terrible disease.

My wish for 2012 is that my sisier has a healthy first baby! That’s all that is important right now.
What is it I wish for the following year: There are so many things to wish for in a single day, but I wish to be able to help where I can, change what I need and grow where I can. With two children that have different disabilities each day can sometimes be a struggle but I work to teach them to be the best that they can be each day and to reach their hands out for other’s to help. My daughter has a learning disability but the one thing that gives her peace is being able to create stuff with her hands, even though she has a difficult time with her movements due to her disorder. I may not be able to wish the issues my children were given away, but my ultimate wish is to teach them how to cope and survive in this world the best they can with the abilities that they have regardless of the disabilities that can create obsticales on a daily basis.

We got into a VERY BAD car accident, then within a week, a giant tree fell on our house. Needless to say, that cost us a pretty penny to fix up, even with insurance. My wish is that my Papa(grampa) is able to see all his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids together and get that Family photo he has been talking about for a few years now. also i wish for him to be as comfortable as possible and live the rest of his life to the fullest!!! My papa was diagnosed with C.O.P.D. about 15 years ago and has been on oxygen since. He has had a long hard road in and out of the hosp. God Bless him! This year Nov 24 Thanksgiving, my Nana and Papa celebrated their 49th anniversary, but the whole family wasnt able to make it including me :( Everyone figured it was going to be a good ol family celebration little did any of us know it was going to be a heart jerker as well. Papa and Nana had announced that papa had an appointment earlier that week with his lung specialist(bless him) and he had recommended that they start the Hospice program and inorder to prescribe it he was diagnosing him with under 6 months to live. This is so far the worst day of my life, My grandpa is my hero he and my grandma raised me my whole life. MY WISH IS THAT PAPA HAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER AND THAT HE ENJOYS THE REST OF HIS LIFE HOW EVER LONG IT MAY BE!!!!!!!!!

I’m so very thankful and blessed for all I have so my new years wish is to try to help people less fortunate. Wether it be donating to a food pantry, church, or just simply smiling and saying hello someone who I don’t know randomly that appears to be having hard times. Because I’ve experienced hard times and when someone helps you during that dark time it makes you appreciate everything you have. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win the Cricut Expression. Been wanting one for quite some time, but it’s hard to find them in Hawaii. And, the shipping is usually pretty high to ship here. At church, I serve the young ladies ages 12 – 18 and always have ideas, but don’t have time to cut out so many cute little things to make for them. Wow, this is quite the question… for me the one thing I wish for most is to get back on track to being a homeowner again. The housing bubble hit our family hard and we lost our home. We’re SLOWLY cleaning up the mess, but the road is a tough one!!! I doubt we’ll be buying a house next year, but I’d like to be closer to that goal but this time next year!

My Wish for 2012: After spending 30+ years in same industry and being laid off 2x in one year, I want to find the right job that fits! I want the potential employer to recognize at 50 years old I have a lot to offer , a lot of experiences to mentor and give away to the ‘newbies’, I am still willing to learn, I play very well with others understanding that it is all about the team that develops the concept and I don’t run down the hall with open scissors. This 4 mos contract is up in March,,,,but I fear not!
