Flip Flops for me – footloose and fancy free
For everyday, it is a toss up between flats and flip flops. {confession: I have two pairs of leopard mules that I love – one in a box and one I wear, lol}.
My feet live in Flip Flops 9 months out of the year here in Vegas…the heat prevents real shoe wearin’ LOL but for those 3 months left it is all about the perfect brown boot:)
Boots with chunky heels!
Flip flops win out for me on my relaxing days around the house. Since I am home a lot, I keep my them handy at all times.
Barefoot if possible!
Mary Janes
vintage cowboy boots or running shoes. both wickedly comfortable.
LOVE kick a*$ high heels…. Love the feeling they give me all dressed up!!! Or with Jeans…..
Cowboy boots. Black ones!
flip flops of course!
I live in my flip flops in the Summer, but during the Winter, when I’m at home, I love to wear my warm, comfy slippers!
My first love is comfort first. Artsy flats when my soul wants to dance. Fancy high heals when my soul wants to feel tall and beautiful. Flip flops when my soul wants to breath the air of inspiration. Tennis shoes when my soul wants to play with my kids.
tennis shoes -preferably All Stars :-D
I work in a pulp mill and have to wear safety shoes–steel toed shoes! So when I get home, two things come off immediately. One is my shoes, which I replace with crocs!
I prefer Flip Flops (MERELL is the only brand i buy)but for the last few days I have traded them in for SNOW BOOTS
Summer prefer the flip flops with a wedge, easy on easy off-painted toes to show flair, Winter Ugg Boats, Mine are covered in paint, but i love them, keep my feet warm easy on and off,and at work Boots, cowboy or riding…

I adore high fancy heels. I don’t wear them nearly enough. Actually, it’s been so long, I’m not even sure I still have any. hmmmm???
Anyway, 95% of the time I’m barefoot, I think it’s a native so. cal. thing. ha!
Thanks for making me realize that I need to go out and get myself some fancy high heels.
xoxo

hmmm…shoes…like a moth to a flame! LOL…i L.O.V.E. shoes! hard to pick…but if i absolutely have to pick…a nice pair of dark brown leather riding boots will do! ;)

Comfortable flats and athletic shoes for exercising.
I prefer funky high heels or tall boots.
Crocs! They are SO comfortable!
uggs! aaaahhhhh..
I would absolutely LOVE high spikey heels, but I have weak ankles and I fall off of anything that has much of a heel…so it will have to be practical ones for me. Darn it!
Flats. I spent my youth in ballet slippers/toe shoes and love shoes that keep me in touch with the ground. If I could I would spend most of my time barefoot.
when I *have* to wear shoes, I love a good pair of penny loafers :)
Comfy flats or my slippers.
I adore cute flats. But I bought a sexy pair of black patent leather platform sandles. I have an affinity for black shoes.
Bunyons–so its flats for me, much to my frustration. I’d love to wear chunky boots with jeans, or some cute heels with slacks to work. Big sigh.
Barefoot, Birkenstocks, or Tom’s… Or Uggs when it’s cold!
Heels – definitely heels.
I love reading these! Sounds like we are all “Sole” Sisters … Sorry! Couldn’t resist:) I can’t believe I left off boots. I have a pair of Sorels that I have been tromping around all over town in since November. And what about a great pair of slippers? AHHH is there anything better after a long day on your feet? Thanks so much for sharing~Paige
A nice flexi pair of patent leather loafers! Ahhhh the shine of new day when your toes are begging for structure!
well I just got my first pair of uggs in the mail today…thinking they might be pushing my number ones out of the running!!!
How easy is this! I have two favorites flip flops and San Miguel Allende “cocktail combat sandals”.
Pattie ;)
Mazatlan Mx.
We Dutch call them ballerina’s : cute flats that is :)
Cute flats with a fabulous arch support – although they are hard to find!
A really comfortable but fabulously chic pair of heels or boots for me please!
Back in the day my answer certainly woul have been fancy high heels. Today I would love to say flip flops but I know they’re just wrong for the feet. Guess what? That leaves tennies as my answer (but I much prefer to be barefoot!)
Variety is the spice of life! Anything 3″ or under it is! That being said, I live in flip flops with arches, barefoot, and flats when not at work.
1940′s heels! So feminine and sexy at the same time!
My Ked’s tennis shoes and flip flops.
I’m loving the funky balancing shoes that give your legs a work-out all day while you are walking. Now if I got up out of my studio chair and walked more….
I love flat Mary Janes! A shoe has to be comfortable the very first time I try it on… no “breaking in” period for me. I swore off high heels when I was in my early twenties, along with panty hose! I’m a very young 55yrs. now, or so I’d like to think. (Once in a blue moon I’ll get dressed up and put on some heels for the fun of it.) (I do wear flip-flops in the summer, but they take their toll on the attractiveness factor/condition of the feetsies.) Bare foot is nice too, but only on the clean floors of my home.
Mary Anne, Just do some ankle strengthening exercises and wear those spikies once in a while! You only live once… if you love them, make it possible.
At my age and state of decrepitude, I am mostly in either my Earth Shoes (Lazer) with a negative heel, or my Bogs boots with thick sole and warmth. At home, I am in AnyWears clogs most of the time.
Crocs or Birkenstocks. It’s all about comfort…can’t create if my feet hurt!
HMMM! Tough one, because I LOVE LOVE LOVE shoes! But if I had to choose it would be chic sexy heels or nice pair of high boots with a heel. There is something about a heel that makes me feel confident, sure, and a woman! I could feel blah today but if I put on a pair of heels then it’s OK, I own a sassy pair of Red alligator imitation print that I LOVE!
You cannot have too many great shoes. Shoes complete any outfit and made a big difference in the way you look and feel. I spend most of my time in comfy shoes that fit my current work. I could use a sassy pair of heels. Something that would make me feel high on life when I put them on.
I love shoes for all reasons.
I’m definantly a girl who loves to wear flats..
but high heels are a girls best friend to any outfit.
Pearl
Definitely a High Heeled Girl but I love naked {painted}toenails so I also do flipflops!
I am a flip-flop girl!
I have always LOVED fancy high heels. When I was a young working gal I wouldn’t have been caught outside the house in a flat shoe. However, now that I’m older I’m just much more comfortable in flats.
I run the gambit. Wear ‘em all.
Oh how I wish I could say heels or something sexy. My poor old tired feet have always preferred flip-flops however. Marcia
Definitely conservative flats or tennis shoes–my days in high heels are long gone and I’m so happy about that!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again!! I am honored to have won a Becky Higgins Life Project!!!! I can’t wait to play with it! Thank you so much again. :)
I love the look of fancy heels but usually wear comfy clogs day-to-day. :-)
I don’t really have a favorite- I love them all… however, I live in the upper Midwest, so a pair of flip-flops with newly pedicured toes is something I look forward to ALL winter long!
Oh, and nothing beats the mood that is created by wearing a pair of gorgeous high heels… how can one not feel like a lady in those?
Oh, I am a Birkenstock girl! I have about 30 pairs that I rotate! I’d break my neck in heels:) Twyla
