I adore high fancy heels. I don’t wear them nearly enough. Actually, it’s been so long, I’m not even sure I still have any. hmmmm???
Anyway, 95% of the time I’m barefoot, I think it’s a native so. cal. thing. ha!
Thanks for making me realize that I need to go out and get myself some fancy high heels.

    SuZeQ says:

Back in the day my answer certainly woul have been fancy high heels. Today I would love to say flip flops but I know they’re just wrong for the feet. Guess what? That leaves tennies as my answer (but I much prefer to be barefoot!)

  40. 40

I’m loving the funky balancing shoes that give your legs a work-out all day while you are walking. Now if I got up out of my studio chair and walked more….

  44. 44
    Pamela says:

I love flat Mary Janes! A shoe has to be comfortable the very first time I try it on… no “breaking in” period for me. I swore off high heels when I was in my early twenties, along with panty hose! I’m a very young 55yrs. now, or so I’d like to think. (Once in a blue moon I’ll get dressed up and put on some heels for the fun of it.) (I do wear flip-flops in the summer, but they take their toll on the attractiveness factor/condition of the feetsies.) Bare foot is nice too, but only on the clean floors of my home.

  45. 45
    Pamela says:

Mary Anne, Just do some ankle strengthening exercises and wear those spikies once in a while! You only live once… if you love them, make it possible.

  46. 46
    kat says:

At my age and state of decrepitude, I am mostly in either my Earth Shoes (Lazer) with a negative heel, or my Bogs boots with thick sole and warmth. At home, I am in AnyWears clogs most of the time.

  47. 47
    Sandy says:

Crocs or Birkenstocks. It’s all about comfort…can’t create if my feet hurt!

  48. 48
    My Casa Bella says:

HMMM! Tough one, because I LOVE LOVE LOVE shoes! But if I had to choose it would be chic sexy heels or nice pair of high boots with a heel. There is something about a heel that makes me feel confident, sure, and a woman! I could feel blah today but if I put on a pair of heels then it’s OK, I own a sassy pair of Red alligator imitation print that I LOVE!

  49. 49
    Cynthiabuhler says:

You cannot have too many great shoes. Shoes complete any outfit and made a big difference in the way you look and feel. I spend most of my time in comfy shoes that fit my current work. I could use a sassy pair of heels. Something that would make me feel high on life when I put them on.
I love shoes for all reasons.

    Sherry Chantiles says:

I have always LOVED fancy high heels. When I was a young working gal I wouldn’t have been caught outside the house in a flat shoe. However, now that I’m older I’m just much more comfortable in flats.

  54. 54
    Gigi Ewbank says:

I run the gambit. Wear ‘em all.

  59. 59
    Erica Cooper says:

I don’t really have a favorite- I love them all… however, I live in the upper Midwest, so a pair of flip-flops with newly pedicured toes is something I look forward to ALL winter long!
Oh, and nothing beats the mood that is created by wearing a pair of gorgeous high heels… how can one not feel like a lady in those?
