Wednesday Wisdom … The Southern Women’s Show

CHA and WHERE WOMEN CREATE are going to be a big part of the Southern Women’s Show in Orlando October 13-16th.

The WWCreate team of demonstrators includes: Kathy Cano-Murillo – The Crafty Chica – and ILovetoCreate; Cathie Filian and Plaid; Cindy Cloward and Jina Barney of Riley Blake Designs; Leigh Standley of Curly Girl Design; and Shea Fragoso and Debbie Murray and A Gilded Life.

This is the first time that I have participated in a consumer show and I am so pleased that we have been invited to be part of an event that is as successful as this one.

I flew to Charlotte to meet the team at the Southern Women’s Show and was more than impressed. They are not only very good at their jobs but they are the essence of Southern hospitality and charm. It was such an honor for them to ask WHERE WOMEN CREATE to host the stage on which all of the CHA and handmade demonstrations will take place.

If you are close to Orlando, you must come to the event! If you are not, then we will update you daily as to all that is happening!

Visit their website: http://www.southernshows.com/wor/ and see EVERYTHING that will be part of these 4 days. Hope to see you there!

Much love always, Jo

Hi -It’s not clear from this post is for Oct 5, or Oct 21st newsletter. I hope it’s not too late to post a comment about that FABULOUS Combo Kit! I want it! O, please, please, please! I am trying to organize all the millions of pieces required to start a new seminar, tutorial business teaching women who are re-entering the workforce how to do sales. Many of us are natural salespersons and could make lucrative incomes in that field, but think without the formal training, we can’t compete. I spent many years as an international flight attendant and par-laid that experience into a lucrative sales career and then later into training other new hires. My workshop is designed to offer tips and tricks on how to find, keep and nurture customers. To that end, much of my workshop is about clever, memorable ways to communicate with your customers and distinguish yourself. I am a strong believer in hand written notes and I still love ‘snail mail’. This dye set is a CRM dream! I would encourage all of my participants to consider investing in this kit and maybe I will offer a set as a door prize and figure out how to give all the participants a 15% discount on it- if they purchased through me! Any way, the
Combo is wonderful. I want to see how it works and would love to win this give-away. Right now I am working on uploading demo videos to YouTube on each tip. I make similar, simple stacked or embossed note cards using Fiskar corrugated roller or other household items for imprint to give ideas on how to make a lasting (inexpensive) impression. This kit is such a brilliant idea. Please give it to me! :-)
